We've Got to Do Something.

The more I explore the issues surrounding the environment the more I am convinced of the major problems we need to face. Then I talk with friends, family and students and I realize that most people don't share this realization. Or if they do, they think that there are problems, but they are for someone else to deal with.

The US has been sitting on its hands for decades now. In that time, we have grown much better at fouling our nest, have allowed many countries to jump way ahead of us in innovation and have led many developing countries down the same dead end street. We can not sit back and allow this gas guzzling machine to run off the cliff. I hope to do my part through this blog and activism within my community.
